David Nix

Dave has been helping people with mental health and addiction issues for over 20 years and leads the mental health program for a large corporation. His experience has taken him from military bases in Iraq during the war to the oil fields on the North Slope of Alaska. He specializes in assessment, addiction, stress management, resilience, and work teaGrim dynamics.

He has a master’s degree in clinical psychology and received his undergraduate degree from BYU. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Master’s Addiction Counselor and Certified Employee Assistance Professional.

Dave is married to his wife, Tamara and has 3 boys. His hobbies include officiating High School football, scuba diving, backpacking and being a scoutmaster.

Judy Wells

Judy Wells, married 47 years, mother of 5 children and grandmother of 16, is a passionate advocate for holistic health and natural healing. With a deep appreciation for nature’s bounty, Judy dedicates her time to exploring and utilizing “God’s Garden”;—the natural world filled with medicinal plants, herbs, and remedies provided by nature. Through this hobby, she focuses on harnessing the healing powers of these natural resources to promote wellness and health. Whether it’s crafting herbal teas, creating natural remedies, or educating others about the benefits of nature-based healing, Judy finds joy and fulfillment in the process of healing through the gifts of the earth.

Matt McLane

After graduating from BYU and finishing up his education, Matt joined McLane Advisors in 2005. Matt brings a unique passion for the markets and how they operate on a macro level which has uniquely benefited our firm and our clients. He is especially gifted in relationship management and plays a key role in client outreach. A musician and songwriter by gift and passion, Matt often provides fresh perspectives that assist the firm in looking at complex issues in diverse ways. He now manages McLane Advisors with his partners. Outside of music, Matt also enjoys saltwater aquariums, back-packing and off-roading through the mountains, and gardening. He is a devoted husband to a woman he does not deserve and a father to four amazing children. You will often hear him declaring that he loves what he does, but he does what he does in order to gain the resources to spend meaningful time with his family.

York McLane

Graduating from Law School in 2004, York spent several years fighting the war on terror as a JAG officer with the US Army serving in the 25th Infantry Division in Hawaii. Upon leaving the service, York entered private practice where for another five years did Estate Planning Law assisting high net worth Individuals in protecting, preserving, and passing along their assets to the next generation. Seeing the benefits associated with sound financial planning, York transitioned into his current role as a full-service Financial Advisor with McLane Advisors in 2012. His expertise in law and estate planning richly benefits our clients in many diversified ways. York manages McLane Advisors with his partners. York is married with four beautiful children and together, they enjoy travelling, 4X4 off-roading, and anything outdoors.

Sharon Colyar

Sharon was born and raised in Southern California. She moved to Utah for college and met her husband soon after. They were married 8 months later and had 4 children.

She lost her husband to suicide in 2006. When she put herself out into the dating world, she made all the common dating mistakes and more. This led her to her many years of researching love and attraction. 5 years ago, Sharon certified in Life Coaching and 2 years ago she certified in Relationship Coaching. She has made appearances on two local TV news shows, Good Things Utah and Studio 5 and taught more that 50 Facebook live classes on singles pages. She has also taught at many W/W and Singles conferences, her favorite, and is half of The Date to Your Potential Podcast on Spotify
