Denise currently works at Utah Youth Village, as the Vice president of Programs, overseeing the Treatment Foster Care, Families First (in-home behavioral service), Outpatient Clinical, Mentoring, and Smarter Parenting programs.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University in April of 2011. She is twice certified in the Teaching Family Model, and certified by the State of Utah as a Family Protective Factors trainer.
Through the church, she has had the opportunity to teach a Marriage and Family “Relationships” class on ward, stake, and institute levels for over 13 years.
She likes to cook, hike, kayak, and travel.
Most importantly, Denise is the mother and step mother of 4 adult children, and grandmother of 13, all whom she adores.
