I was born and raised in Northern California. I met my husband on BYU campus in a Book of Mormon/Church History class. We have 4 beautiful daughters and 4 darling grandchildren. After a long battle with colon cancer, my husband passed away in 2010, and I moved to Utah to be closer to my daughters. I went into teaching after my husband passed away and I have been teaching for the past 12 years. This July I will hit the 13 year mark of being on this widowed journey.
